A highly reputable and well-established secondary school in the heart of Bromley is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join its committed staff team from September 2025. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and specialism.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across a range of abilities.
* Inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the natural world.
* Assess and track student progress, providing clear feedback and intervention where necessary.
* Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and the school community.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour, attendance, and academic effort.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and departmental collaboration.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in a Science-related discipline.
* Experience teaching Science at secondary level, including up to GCSE (A-level experience desirable but not essential).
* A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for science education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
