As we scale globally, we are building a world-class operations and logistics function to ensure efficiency across our supply chain. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, the Operations Manager will take full ownership of all inbound and outbound shipments across our three fulfillment facilities:
• UK Fulfilment Centre
• Spain Fulfilment Centre
• USA Fulfilment Centre
Additionally, this role will lead a EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integration project in the coming months, working closely with internal teams and external partners to streamline order processing and fulfilment systems.

Key Responsibilities
Global Freight & Logistics Management
• Own & oversee all inbound and outbound shipments across UK, Spain, and USA fulfilment centers.
• Ensure all shipments are processed, tracked, and delivered on time to retailers and customers.
• Liaise with couriers and freight providers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, freight forwarders) to resolve any logistics issues.
• Oversee import/export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
• Optimize freight and courier costs, negotiating rates and identifying efficiencies to improve delivery speeds and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop KPIs for delivery performance and ensure all shipping partners meet required SLAs.
EDI Integration & Systems Implementation
• Lead the implementation of an EDI system to automate order processing and fulfillment.
• Work closely with tech teams, suppliers, and retailers to integrate EDI into our operations.
• Ensure seamless data flow between Shopify, warehouse systems, and retail partners.
• Manage project timelines, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth rollout.
• Train internal teams on best practices for EDI usage and optimization.
Fulfilment Center & Inventory Management
• Work closely with our UK, Spain, and USA fulfilment centers to streamline order processing and dispatch operations.
• Ensure all fulfilment centers are stocked appropriately and coordinate inventory movements between locations as needed.
• Oversee quality control on shipments, ensuring that correct products are dispatched without error.
• Regularly review fulfillment performance and troubleshoot any operational issues.
Stock & Inventory Oversight
• Ensure accurate stock levels across all fulfilment locations, preventing over/under stocking issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight partners to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Lead quarterly stock audits to verify inventory levels and improve stock accuracy.
• Maintain regular stock reports and sales performance insights.
Operational Process Optimization
• Identify and implement efficiencies in fulfllment, logistics, and stock management.
• Problem-solve logistics bottlenecks to improve delivery timelines and reduce costs.
• Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for logistics and fulfilment to ensure smooth operations across regions.
Experience & Skills
• 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
• Strong understanding of international freight & fulfilment operations, particularly across the UK, EU, and USA.
• Experience working with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers.
• EDI experience highly desirable—ability to lead an integration project from start to finish.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify & fulfilment software, understanding how to manage order flows efficiently.
• Strong negotiation skills when working with couriers and fulfiment partners.
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills—able to troubleshoot supply chain issues proactively.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail to manage complex logistics operations.
• Ability to analyze supply chain performance and optimize for speed, efficiency, and cost.
• Experience with customs regulations & international shipping compliance is a plus.
