Job Description
I'm currently working with a very well known London based Architectural practice in their search for an Airport planner. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £50,000 pa depending on experience.
This position lends itself to those with a specific set of skills and experience within the aviation and infrastructure sector. You'll need to have at least 5 years experience of working on airport planning schemes to be considered. Aviation master planning will be a large aspect of this role and you'll need to be able to demonstrate strong experience with this in your portfolio, both UK based and Intentional aviation schemes. Experience with Airport terminal planning is also required.
Generally good front end design experience would be suitable, you'll be working on early concept design stages and feasibility studies. You'll need to be able to communicate efficiently as you'll be coordinating between various teams within the company, you'll also be presenting and working closely with clients which would also require strong communication skills. Managing a team would be beneficial as eventually you'll likely have a small team to manage after the initial embedding period.
Ideally you should be comfortable with using Revit however other software are in use so don't despair if you're not a Revit guru. Microstation and AecoSIM experience would also be suitable if not Revit.
As mentioned this is to work for a very recognisable and respected name with the UK Architectural market, whilst this is an aviation role the company do work in a variety of other areas including healthcare, education, commercial and more.
This is to work for a company that are known for treating their staff well with a good set of additional benefits and with an attractive hybrid working policy.
Interview are looking to take place before the end of the year with a start date in mind for January/February.
