Associate Marketing Director, Field Marketing
Responsible for leading activities for one of our largest revenue generating industry verticals – Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) including General Insurance, Life, Pensions and Wealth, the London Markets, Core Capital retail banking and cards and payments.
The Role
Acting as a BFSI industry subject matter expert, the BFSI industry marketing Lead will oversee marketing strategy, planning, and execution for integrated marketing programs and campaigns that will leverage our global marketing research investments and our exciting sports partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with strong experience in B2B technology marketing and a demonstrated ability to drive brand growth and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization, including sales, consulting, and solution development. The candidate will have a deep understanding of integrated marketing and sales enablement, including channel and client outreach, client journey development, and account-based marketing.
Core Responsibilities
1. Serve as the BFSI industry marketing adviser to business and key stakeholders in communications media, technology, and sport.
2. Develop, maintain, and drive prioritization of industry marketing and client campaigns.
3. Create and execute ABM plans.
4. Design, plan, and execute awareness and lead generation campaigns.
5. Segment and develop persona profiles for target clients.
6. Develop and track key metrics and KPIs for success.
7. Support other team members, as appropriate.
8. Provide innovative approaches to build client and partner relationships.
9. Engage and collaborate closely with technology alliance partners and BFSI industry forums.
10. Collaborate across our internal ecosystem including global messaging, PR, Partner Marketing, Sponsorships, Events teams, Digital Media, Brand and Creative, Analyst and Influencers, as well as corporate functions such as finance and procurement.
Candidate Profile
1. Deep understanding of the business issues at a macro UKI level and a micro communications media and tech level.
2. Comfortable operating within a complex matrix organizational structure.
3. Previous experience with a large professional service organization.
4. Able to self-start, self-motivate, and manage multiple and complex priorities.
5. Comfortable with fluidity and ambiguity and has the maturity to stay prioritized and focused in such situations.
6. Strong demand generation skills and a client-centric mentality.
7. Strong communication skills and able to influence others.
8. Agile and innovative thinker.
9. In-depth experience in marketing, with a focus on using marketing to drive growth and build client relationships.
10. Deep understanding and experience of integrated marketing and client strategies to provide successful and measurable outcomes.
11. Previous experience in B2B marketing.
