Finance Coordinator - Coventry City Centre based - Working for a leading education provider - Salary £25,742 per annum plus outstanding company benefits Working hours and Location This post is a permanent role, and the full-time contract is 37.5 hours per week. As an organisation they have an agile working programme which supports staff working from home, however regular working each week is required in the Coventry Office (circa 3 days per week in the office) and flexibility to meet business need is required. They have a flexible approach and are open to applications from candidates that may require some variation to the contracted hours or hybrid arrangements (although this is not a fully remote role and a minimum of 30 hours / 4 days is required). We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our clients Finance Team. The role will suit an individual with a high level of attention-to-detail and organisation skills, with experience of working within a similar role within finance. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. The role will report to the Finance Manager and will be a key point of contact within the department. You will be expected to process all financial data and take ownership of all financial queries. The role will be focused on tight deadlines and duties will include involvement in the production of management accounts, financial statements, budget preparation and forecasting meetings. The ideal candidate will be committed, self-motivated, and adaptable and be able to work with minimum supervision. You should be AAT qualified or working towards the qualification and be able to demonstrate proven numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills at a minimum of level 2. You will need to have strong Excel skills with experience of using finance systems in a finance role. Key duties will include: To support the Finance Manager in the timely production of all companies financial statements, management accounts and reports. Coordinate all financial queries in a responsive and accurate manner focusing on excellent customer service to staff, students, and suppliers. To be actively involved with budget holders for regular forecasting and budget meetings and reviewing all financial transactions.
