What we're looking for?
We're looking for an IT Project Manager to deliver IT solutions with previous experience of managing projects in a largely outsourced environment.
You will need to work at all levels of the organisation, experienced with handling multiple requirements and stakeholders concurrently, all whilst successfully influencing key decision making to ensure the project is initiated and delivered within the required timelines.
We'll Trust You To
1. Take ownership of WWU IT Project and ensure delivery to time and budget.
2. Work alongside IT Team colleagues to review business requirements and match to an appropriate solution.
3. Support investment sign off helping to shape project business cases with a concise summary, costs, associated risks, timelines, and any associated financial forecasting.
4. Have Project Management implementation experience, being able to control and deliver a project to time and cost to contractual agreement e.g. T&M or fixed cost, managing both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
You’ll Need To Have
1. Project implementation expertise.
2. Demonstrable financial ownership of projects in a variety of different contractual situations.
3. Contractual/Commercial awareness and experience in successfully devising contracts that have demonstrably enhanced supplier delivery.
4. Vendor and customer management.
5. A degree level education.
6. Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent Project Management qualification highly desirable.
7. ITIL experience / qualification (helpful for interaction with IT Operations and Acceptance into Service).
