Akessa Healthcare Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. This is a pivotal role that will directly impact patient care by developing and delivering high-quality education and training programs across The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital and The New Foscote Hospital.
What you'll be doing:
1. Educate and Inspire: Develop, deliver, and evaluate innovative educational programs for a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including nurses, healthcare assistants, and other clinical staff.
2. Lead and Innovate: Drive improvements in patient care by leading simulation-based training sessions, clinical skills workshops, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
3. Support and Mentor: Provide mentorship and coaching to staff at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
4. Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with clinical teams to identify training needs, develop effective training plans, and evaluate the impact of educational interventions.
5. Stay Updated: Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure that training programs are aligned with industry standards.
What we're looking for:
1. Essential:
2. NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
3. PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or willing to obtain)
4. Practice Supervisor and Assessor Qualification (or willing to obtain)
5. Significant experience in clinical settings
6. Proven track record in clinical skills teaching
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strong organizational and time management abilities
9. Proficiency in using relevant IT systems
1. Desirable:
2. Rehabilitation nursing experience
3. Experience in a leadership or management role
4. Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
