Unit Manager (Non Clinical) ••Maternity leave cover until July 2025••

£15.60 - £17.84ph dependent on experience and qualifications
Temporary contract until July 2025. 44 hours per week. Alternate weekends as part of shift pattern.
Part of your role will be working on the floor and part will be supernumerary, dependent on the needs of the business.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
You will be responsible for the 24/7 delivery of high quality care to residents and be a visible leader in the home driving the operation and growth of a 24 hour business with continual focus on people, customers and results.
You will ensure delivery of the highest standards of quality care in accordance with Bupa’s Vision, Mission and values.
You will ensure the implementation of all Bupa’s detailed nursing and operational policies and procedures ensuring full compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.
You will ensure effective management of all staff costs, associated budgets and occupancy within your area of the Care Home.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
* NVQ level 3 or above within Care.
* Experience of working in a residential unit to a minimum job level of Senior Care Assistant.
* Experience of effective team management.
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
* Good time management skills, ability to prioritise and organise workload appropriately.
* Computer literate with experience of using a variety of IT systems, i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
