CLASS 2 DRIVER
MONDAY - FRIDAY: STARTS
£15.50 PER HOUR
People Solutions are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Burton Upon Trent.
You must be aged 25 or over for this role.

Day to Day Duties
* Operate and drive various Class 2 Vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to deliver to multiple stores across the country
* All vehicles have tail-lifts, but you will be required to lift heavy boxes and move cages, so any applicants must be willing and able to do this
* The Vehicles have sleeper cabs as nights out could be required on a sporadic basis
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
* Ensure vehicles are well presented at all times
