Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a successful track record in customer service delivery to take on this challenging and rewarding role, where you will deliver a range of administrative and legal solutions to tenancy infractions.
This will involve resolving breaches of tenancy, including misuse of property and ASB, devising and delivering practical solutions. Working to agreed timescales, you will collaborate with colleagues, solicitors, and the customer to ensure the best outcome and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
In addition, you will be part of the team responsible for Newlon’s formal ASB function, ensuring it is legally compliant and considers the interests of Newlon and the customer.
With an understanding of (or the willingness to learn) Housing Law as it relates to Anti-Social Behaviour, succession, subletting, no access, and other breaches of tenancy, you’ll have exceptional communication skills and be willing to provide support and advice, working with others to deliver excellent customer service.
You will be a highly focused individual, able to demonstrate empathy and a genuine commitment to resolving issues. You’ll enjoy devising creative solutions to problems that meet the needs of Newlon and its customers while looking at ways to improve processes.
In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits, and a flexi scheme. This is a non-hybrid role where you’ll be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
