ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the Graduate Civil Engineer
The successful Graduate Civil Engineer will work alongside a Senior Civil Engineers when offering Consultancy services to a variety of clients.
The successful Graduate Civil Engineer will quickly develop their skills and be given every opportunity to push to the next level.
You will work in the following areas :
1. Building conditions
2. Structural repair
3. Concrete repair
4. Work on buildings / civil structures / marine structures
5. Forensic investigation of building material defects with a focus on corrosion
6. Cathodic Protection
You will undertake a number of tasks, but specifically :
7. CAD
8. Building Information Modelling (BIM)
9. On site survey work
10. Design work including production of specifications, calculations, drawings and condition assessment reports.
11. Life care planning.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, the Graduate Civil Engineer will have:
12. A completed degree in a Civil Engineering related subject.
13. 12+ months’ experience (including work placement)
