They are seeking Multiple skilled welders with the ability to fabricate to join their business during a period of growth. Job Description: As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating mild steel components up to 12mm thickness. Working as part of a dynamic team within a leading general subcontractor, you will be involved in projects across multiple sectors, including machine tools, special purpose machinery, and general sheet metal fabrication. You will need to interpret technical drawings, utilize hand and air tools effectively, and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Perform MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel components up to 12mm thick. • Read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate fabrications. • Utilize hand and air tools safely and efficiently. • Work across diverse sectors, including machine tools, special purpose machinery, and general sheet metal fabrication. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. • Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, with strong MIG welding skills. • Ability to read and work from technical drawings accurately. • Experience using hand and air tools in a fabrication setting. • Versatile experience across sectors such as machine tools, special purpose machinery, and general sheet metal fabrication. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • A proactive approach to health and safety.
