Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Broughton, Chester (Hybrid working)
Purpose of the role: Primary responsibility is to find compliance with contract and aviation regulatory requirements. Proactively manage the identification of quality issues/concerns both internal and external customer originated. Support the Accountable Manager's and Cyber, Space & Training Quality Manager with defined Quality Key Performance Indicators. Reviewing changes to requirements and facilitating change management with the relevant stakeholders. Promoting a Quality culture within Airborne ISR.
Main Duties:
1. Assuring Airborne ISR remains compliant with the multiple Military and Civil aviation regulatory approvals, and remain compliant with Raytheon's code of conduct and business practices.
2. Commits personal time and energy to pursuing improvements and innovations across the business and is quality focused.
3. Promotes risk-based thinking in regards to regulatory and contractual compliance.
4. Promote change management within Airborne ISR.
5. Ability to generate business metrics.
6. Ability to review and assess business metrics to recommend improvements to the BMS.
7. Maintenance of compliance mapping toolsets and QMS management software.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
1. SC (current)
2. QMS Lead Auditor.
3. Must be well versed in Proactive / Predictive Maintenance Techniques, 8D (RRCA) with sound knowledge of FMEA.
4. Must have a strong recent background in Aviation Quality Systems.
5. Regulatory training in one or more of the following regulations: Part 145, Part 21G, Part 21J, MAOS, DAOS, CFAOS, AS9110.
6. Willingness to learn.
Desirable:
1. Working Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Flows, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
