We are recruiting a Driver (Connect2) at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider passenger transport team.
We pay an attractive salary of £12.85 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Connect2 is a minibus service for areas of the county borough that are remote from existing public transport services. The aim of the service is to provide a fixed route and flexible transport service for residents who are living in remote areas from public transport networks.
The postholder must have a flexible approach to working, with a requirement to work according to the needs of the service user, this will regularly involve early mornings or late evenings and weekends for which no additional premium is paid.
The flexible nature of the scheme means that work will also be undertaken for other departments, such as Education Transport and Social Services.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A current Driving Licence with vocational D1 entitlement and up to date Driver CPC.
Good communication skills verbal, written and electronic.
Previous experience of driving minibuses with passengers.
