This role will be based on Petter Day Treatment Unit. The post holder will predominantly provide specialist outpatient care, working within clinics, specializing in consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The post holder will have a specialist interest in Colposcopy, Post Menopausal Bleeding, and 2-week wait pathways. As a Nurse Colposcopist, the post holder will assess and diagnose abnormalities via scanning and biopsy and refer for further care as necessary.
This post is also open as a development opportunity to experienced Band 6 nurses wishing to specialize in this area.
The post holder will work as part of the team on Petter DTU, providing support, training, and advice when needed. The candidate should be an excellent role model, able to use own initiative, and committed to service development.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hours to be confirmed.
