Maternity Cover Role: Theatre School Manager Location: Wymondham /Hybrid Contract: Maternity potential of perm role Salary: £15.00 Per Hour Hours: 5 per week Are you a dynamic, empathetic, and highly organised individual with a passion for helping children thrive? WHAM Theatre Schools is seeking a Theatre School Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our thriving theatre school while our principal is on maternity leave. About the Role As Theatre School Manager, you will: Be the primary face of the school for students, parents/guardians, staff, venue managers, and the school's Franchisor. Ensure the smooth running of the school by maintaining professional relationships and open communication with all stakeholders. Monitor and uphold compliance with Safeguarding and Health & Safety Standards, ensuring 100% adherence. Provide consistent and empathetic support to children, parents, and staff while maintaining clear professional boundaries. Oversee branding, social media, and administrative tasks to maintain the school’s professional image. Schedule regular site visits (one to two per month) to maintain a hands-on understanding of operations. Hours and Pay Initial period of 3 months, under a Freelance Agreement / Contract. The possibility for PAYE can be discussed after this time. An additional 7.5 hours per half term on top of contracted 5 hours available. Why Join Us? Have a strong understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and discretion regarding the WHAM business model. Be confident with technology and CRM systems, with training provided for specific software. Have a modern, empathetic approach to supporting children and families, particularly those facing challenges such as emotional wellbeing, additional needs, or financial difficulties.
