Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Hours: Part-time (Monday to Friday), we are looking for candidates who are available for a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
Shift Times: Between 8am - 6pm.
Contract Type: Bank.
Pay: Bank hourly rate between £15.32ph – £18.91ph dependent upon shift & role type.
We’re looking for Bank Radiology Department Assistants (RDA) to join our team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

As a Bank RDA, you will have the opportunity to help radiographers, nurses, admin staff and doctors as required, assist patients and clinical procedures, ensuring and maintaining the smooth running of the department.
As a Radiology Department Assistant you will...
1. Answer telephone enquiries, referring where appropriate.
2. Manage and maintain the patients' records for the duration of their visit.
3. Respect the confidentiality and security of all patient information.
4. Respond promptly to any patient/third party requests.
5. Respond to telephone, written and face-to-face queries.
6. Ensure patients' exams have been ordered, SP Quotes & Safety questionnaires prior to any scans taking place.
7. Ensure the smooth running of all clinics.
8. Organize departmental workload including changing patients and dealing with all necessary paperwork.
9. Assist with setting up for procedures and help with minor clinical procedures under the supervision of trained clinical staff.
10. Ensure IPC measures are followed for all clinical procedures.
11. Assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department and in particular the waiting and changing areas, clinic rooms, and office areas.
12. Help with the maintenance of stock levels in all rooms (e.g. linen, syringes, paper towel rolls, needles, etc.) and ordering of stock.
13. Collect and escort in-patients to and from the department.
What you’ll bring...
1. Availability for 2-3 shifts per week between Monday to Friday, with shift times between 8am - 6pm.
2. Good spoken and written English.
3. Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
4. Accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Ability to resolve queries in a timely manner and seek assistance as required.
6. Customer care skills and ability to prioritize workload.
