About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this renowned College, playing a key role in maintaining, managing and quality assurance aspects of the question banks, and publishing examinations alongside the external test provider Pearson VUE.
The team works with a committed and diverse group of Consultant Surgeons who create new question content for the examinations.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to demonstrate their superb organisational skills and their experience in dealing with stakeholders from a professional background.
They will also have the opportunity to work closely with other Managers within the JCIE Secretariat team to assist them in providing relevant data and reporting to the Examination Boards and the JCIE Internal Quality Assurance Committee.
The role is pivotal within a team that on a daily basis collaborates and communicates effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain exacting standards of academic integrity.
There may be a requirement for the role holder to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work occasionally.
Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills
This is a great opportunity for an individual who is confident and experienced in managing effective administration processes and coordination in support of different projects, for instance monitoring and tracking progress, identifying challenges and pro-actively seeking updates.
It is understood you will have excellent communication skills, along with well-developed stakeholder management skills. You will have experience of providing excellent administrative support to committees or working groups.
You will be a proficient user of the MS Office suite and have the ability to prioritise your workload with minimum supervision. A high level of professionalism and diplomacy is required for the role as is a willingness to take on new challenges and be receptive to change.
You will have some experience in managing a small team.
