Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and flexible Speech and Language Therapist to gain experience with adults in an acute setting. You will be joining an established and well supported Speech and Language Therapy team, and will have an opportunity to develop specialist dysphagia and communication skills supported by a highly skilled senior therapy team. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult inpatients. Main duties of the post holder are: To assess and treat own caseload of patients / clients, who may have complex and /or chronic presentations, as an autonomous practitioner, and maintain associated records To provide a high standard of speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic inpatients, and associatedoutpatient activity.
