Mechanic
Here at E-ppl, we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry, working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed, offering a turn-key solution to our customers.
We are looking for skilled and experienced Mechanics to join our team supporting our customer on an ongoing contract basis. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on the customers' vehicles in preparation for sale.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are:
* Inspecting and repairing vehicles
* Engine removal and re-fitment of engine to vehicle
* Experience of working in a workshop on passenger vehicles is required.
* Perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc.
* Using diagnostic equipment.
* Replacing faulty parts.
Mechanic Requirements:
* IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle repair or equivalent is essential
* Proven work experience as a Mechanic (minimum 3 years)
* Good manual dexterity
* Ability to follow instructions
* Good communication skills
* Excellent knowledge about motor technology
* Methodical and organised
* Good concentration
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Strong interest in motor vehicles
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Comprehensive selection of appropriate tooling
Possible weekend overtime with premium rate
Working at various locations around the UK
Rate is from £17 per hour depending on experience
Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
