Job Type – Fixed Term Contract - 6 months (with a view to going permanent)
Salary – £25,000-£28,000 per annum.
Job Overview:
The Scheduler will play a critical role in the efficient and safe operation of the gas industry by managing and coordinating the scheduling of work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and smooth day-to-day operations. This role will involve working closely with engineers, field teams, and other departments to organise maintenance, repairs, and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scheduling Operations:
o Develop and maintain detailed work schedules for gas pipeline, processing, and storage operations, including routine maintenance, emergency response, and project work.
o Coordinate with field teams, engineering, and contractors to ensure timely and safe execution of scheduled activities.
o Prioritise tasks based on urgency, compliance requirements, and resource availability.
• Resource Management:
o Allocate resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet operational needs.
o Ensure that all required resources (personnel, equipment, and supplies) are available and prepared for scheduled work.
o Communicate any changes or delays in scheduling to relevant teams to minimise disruption.
