You’ll have a mix of responsibilities and may sometimes need to support filming at properties. You’ll work with the project manager and curatorial specialist to ensure that the Trust’s staff and volunteers are presented to the highest standard. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40–60% of your working week. You’ll have weekly online meetings with the production company, frequent online calls with relevant project teams, and you’ll be checking in regularly with external conservators and both the Royal Oak Foundation Conservation Studio and the Textile Conservation Studio to provide support and help plan filming. You’ll work with the transport registrar and property teams to ensure transport runs are requested and planned in time to meet the production’s schedule. You’ll maintain the planner for all conservation projects in the series and track projects as they progress, keeping an oversight of the stages of treatment, duration of work and critical deadlines. You’ll need to handle a high volume of emails and respond promptly when needed.
