Job title: Speech & Language - Neuro rehabilitation Location: Loughborough Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Start Date: ASAP Duration: Full Time Salary: £44k - £50k per annum We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre. This private specialist unit is a 38-bed facility dedicated to providing person-centered care for individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, and palliative care needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality therapy services to enhance the communication and swallowing abilities of our service users. Responsibilities: As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will manage a personal clinical caseload, including assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, interventions, and outcome evaluation. You will lead the review and discharge process for individual service users, refer them to other services where appropriate, and ensure consent is obtained from commissioning agents. Additionally, you will deliver and lead group care programmes alongside other therapists or support/rehabilitation assistants, attend case conferences and annual reviews to support service users and their families, maintain comprehensive and contemporaneous clinical records and reports in line with national and local standards, and contribute to the development of speech and language therapy within the group.
