This is a fabulous opportunity to join the multi-award winning Prehab4Cancer service and to play a leading role in the administration of the project. The service creates world leading outcomes for people affected by cancer across Greater Manchester.
The Prehab4Cancer Service works in partnership with the NHS to deliver prehabilitation and rehabilitation as part of standard care, to people diagnosed with cancer in GM.
Working with GM Active Member organisations, the service provides access to exercise, nutrition and wellbeing support via the public leisure facilities across GM. We empower people to take a proactive role in their care, to build resilience ahead of rigorous cancer treatment with the delivery of personalised intervention plans.
Receiving guidance and support from our Communications Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing access for patients into our service, arranging appointments for assessment with our team and supporting the onboarding process into the service.

A cancer diagnosis is a significant event in a person’s life. We are looking for individuals that can offer kindness, compassion and empathy to the patients that are referred to our service.
