Your new role An exciting opportunity for multiple Manufacturing Biotechnologists to join our team You will work as part of a shift team (shifts will include evening and weekend work), performing hands-on manufacturing of an autologous commercially licensed, Nobel prize winning CRISPR-Cas9 gene-edited product according to Good Manufacturing Practice within a highly controlled clean room environment. Complete quality related documentation including manufacturing batch records, forms, and logbooks to a high level of GDP following all relevant standard operating procedures and instructions. Assist with change controls, deviations, and risk assessments. Support daily housekeeping activities, including but not limited to cleaning, stock control, and ordering materials. Prepare standard operating procedures and prepare batch records, work instructions, and forms. Participate in the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. About you Experience or an educational background in stem cells, cellular therapies, or cell banking. You will have an awareness/understanding of a GMP cleanroom production environment. Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft packages. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports/record output and an excellent attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Manufacturing Biotechnologist must complete an initial training programme to develop relevant practical skills satisfactorily.
