Main duties of the job
Rated as a CQC Outstanding hospital, The Horder Centre is looking for an experienced Senior Surgical Care Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis to work within the Theatre department, under the direction of the Consultant Surgeons and wider SCP team.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, both in the operating theatre and within the broader surgical environment. The successful candidate will have significant clinical experience and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for all patients.

About you:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with relevant experience in surgical care.
* Master's Degree in Surgical Care Practitioner Course.
* UK based experience in a similar healthcare setting, preferably within orthopaedics.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Experience in supervising junior staff.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a leadership or teaching role is desirable.
Salary: up to £51,441.00 per annum
