Description The Service & Team: This is an exciting opportunity to become a Development Officer in the Development Management Team at Cornwall Council. The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed candidate to fill the post of Development Officer within a friendly and supportive area based team of Development Officers responsible for delivering Development Management within Cornwall. You will be joining a very experienced team with the additional benefit of a varied caseload and a mix of home and office working. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week but flexible working options such as compressed hours, term-time only, hybrid work arrangements, and other alternatives can be considered. What you’ll need to succeed: Qualifications at NVQ level 4 (HNC or other equivalent).
