SEND Teaching Assistant – January Start Location: Ellesmere Port Daily Rate: £85-95 per day Hours: 8:15-15:30 Monday-Friday We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a large secondary school in Ellesmere Port from January 2025. This full-time, temporary position will involve supporting children both on a 1-to-1 basis and in small groups, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. The role will primarily focus on working with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and may include supporting those with challenging behaviours. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates with previous experience working with children. This experience can come from any background, including education, youth work, residential care, or similar fields. We understand that each experience brings valuable skills, and we are looking for someone who can offer patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with confidence. While a formal Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, it is not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of the students.
