About The Role
We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Marketing Executive to become part of our current Protection Marketing team.
You will play a key role in contributing to the creation and execution of strategic marketing initiatives targeted at financial advisers, ensuring they achieve maximum impact. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will support the Protection marketing team with the delivery of a variety of activities, including key campaigns and communications, to support our commercial and reputational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating, planning and executing on-going B2B marketing initiatives in accordance with the agreed marketing strategy. Communicate marketing activity plans and performance to relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate support and response management.
* Drafting and planning content for LV= Adviser social media, monitoring their success and engagement statistics.
* Preparing and publishing mandatory communications as required.
* Regularly ensuring compliance standards are followed for all marketing, communications and product materials, including sign-off processes and content shelf-life reviews.
* Producing marketing communications, product materials and content for use in marketing 'Always-on' activity.
* Assisting with the drafting and planning of the team's internal newsletter.
* Working effectively with all relevant internal (including product areas and sales) and external parties (including agencies, networks, industry bodies, media owners and affiliates), for the purposes of implementing marketing and communications activity.
* Acting as a brand and tone of voice champion for the wider Protection Marketing team, proofing copy and materials to ensure content is accurate, consistent and in line with guidelines, collaborating effectively with the Brand Design team.
* Monitoring competitor marketing activity to identify strengths, opportunities and potential threats.
About you
Our ideal candidate will…
* Be a proactive marketer with relevant marketing experience (ideally within the IFA or life & pensions markets) or have appropriate marketing qualifications e.g. Marketing Degree or CIM/ACIM or be working towards a qualification.
* Demonstrate strong literacy skills and attention to detail.
* Be a self-starter, able to think laterally and a good problem-solver.
* Showcase strong organisational skills.
* Effectively manage time, tasks, and costs across multiple campaigns/assets.
* Competently work across the ‘marketing mix’, writing copy for offline and online campaigns.
* Have some knowledge of the financial services landscape (advantageous).
* Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, with hands-on experience in managing Google Ads campaigns and analysing performance metrics (advantageous).
* Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Manage workload within a pressured and changing environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and achieve high-quality outcomes.
* Be computer-literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and preferably previous experience of marketing platforms (e.g. Vimeo, Canva, HubSpot, LinkedIn).
