Coquet Medical Group is looking for Salaried GPs to work part-time and join our practice across both Amble and Broomhill sites.
We are a teaching practice that takes great pride in developing our future workforce, including medical and nursing students, as well as the continued development of all staff. We welcome candidates who have an interest in teaching and actively encourage those who would like to explore any special interests.
We are a friendly practice that holds regular team meetings and catch-up sessions to promote an inclusive family atmosphere and foster an open, transparent, and positive work culture.
As a GP Practice that is part of Northumbria Primary Care, we work with flexibility and independence to run the surgery based on what is best for our patients and staff. Additionally, we have the regular and consistent support of the management team to help us focus on what is clinically important.
As a Salaried GP, the post holder will be a key clinician within the team. A job plan will be agreed upon to provide general medical services and address a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
Benefits
Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is a pioneering not-for-profit partnership with local GPs, managing several GP practices with around 120,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside. We reinvest in our practices, each operating separately but as part of a larger organization. As an NPC GP, we offer great benefits, including:
1. Opportunities for portfolio working and development of specialist clinical interest roles.
2. Access to all benefits of Northumbria healthcare, lease cars, home electronics, and health and wellbeing offers.
3. Support with education, including monthly education timeout sessions and quarterly NPC practice-wide education sessions covering a range of topics dictated by the needs of our clinicians. Free access to Red Whale, mentorship, and coaching.
We have a well-established administrative team managing medication requests, reviews, and document management/coding. We also employ Physician Associates, Social Prescribers, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, and Mental Health Practitioners.
We are a forward-thinking organization, and as part of our culture, we embrace new technologies to improve the services we offer our patients. We understand the importance of listening to our patients and are not afraid to make changes based on feedback. If you are considering a change of direction for your practice, do not hesitate to contact us.
