DUTIES
Your duties as the Innovation Grant Writer / Bid Writer include:
Work closely with clients to understand their unique project and business goals, requirements and funding needs
Prepare and write high quality grant applications, ensuring they meet all submission requirements and deadlines
Ensure that all grant applications adhere to guidelines set by the funding body and are eligible
Monitor the progress of applications and support clients with their longer-term grant funding strategies
Collaborate with the team to share knowledge, best practices and contribute to the companys overall success
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Innovation Grant Writer / Bid Writer you will have the following skill, experience and qualifications:
Proven innovation grant writing experience, with a track record of successful funding secured from Innovate UK, and preferably other funding bodies as well
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and persuasively
Adept at conducting thorough research to identify relevant funding opportunities
Strong organisational skills and an eagle eye for detail to manage multiple proposals and deadlines
Collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly within a diverse team
Knowledge of various industries and sectors to cater to a diverse clientele
Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant area (technical/MBA) is preferred
