Technical Manager - Healthcare Consulting
£90,000 to £100,000 + 10% bonus
London office four days a week (core hours of 10-4pm).
Ability to work 4 weeks a year remotely.
Tarka Talent is working with a leading boutique consultancy that is dedicated to helping leaders and frontline teams improve health, transform healthcare, embed life science innovation and boost growth through investment. The firm serves the entire healthcare sector, from healthcare systems and life sciences to health tech and sector suppliers. They provide end-to-end services, spanning strategy, finance, performance, organisational improvement, data and digital.
The client is looking to hire a Healthcare Technical Manager to join their data, engineering and data science capability which supports the firms consulting teams but is also available for direct client services.
Position overview & required background:
* 5+ years of Management Consulting experience. This can be blended with some NHS work.
* Significant experience in technical consulting, digital transformation, technology delivery and client servicing in the Healthcare and / or Life Sciences industry.
* Data Science background with experience interpreting large data sets.
* Understanding of Python and the ability to quality assure the work of others.
* Act as a technical point of contact for issue resolution, guiding the team in troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems that may arise during development.
* Understanding of best practice for software development, including coding standards, version control, and testing methodologies, to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the development process.
The logistics:
