About the role
* Assist with individual and group activities, supporting students with sensory, physical, and learning challenges, as well as emotional and social development needs.
* Work with teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities tailored to student needs.
* Create effective learning environments, manage behaviour, and provide literacy, numeracy, and administrative support.
* Ensure pupil safety, support marking and record-keeping, and contribute to the school’s ethos and vision.
* Safeguard the welfare of children and uphold Health and Safety protocols.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Lesson Support Assistant you will:
* Experience working with students with special needs, including sensory or physical impairments, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges.
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers and contribute to student progress.
* Commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and maintaining the school’s vision and ethos.
* Familiarity with creating structured, engaging, and supportive learning environments.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Experience working with students with special needs, including sensory or physical impairments, learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges.
