Responsibilities
1. Including driving of HGV vehicles, you will be responsible for the delivery of materials, equipment, and plant.
2. Operating mobile plant and other activities to assist Craftsmen on site, you will be responsible for HIAB operation.
3. Entering unattended substations and operational sites, you will manage driver hours and collect/remove electrical plant and materials.
4. Ensuring high standards of vehicle maintenance and roadworthiness checks, you will adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
5. Replacement and removal of poles, substation access, streetworks, and slinger signaller duties are also required within this role.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate, as a minimum, your experience in HGV driving and HIAB operation.
With the ability to use/operate mechanical plant and machinery, you will also possess sound material handling techniques.
