Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Social Value Coordinator for a regional housing contractor, to work within their regional division in Leeds.

Main duties will include, but not limited to:
1. Exhibit a strong passion for Social Value and a commitment to creating positive change
2. Conduct research on social value priorities of clients and industry best practices
3. Plan, coordinate, and deliver social and economic value initiatives, including work experience programs, site visits, and school engagement activities
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, site teams, supply chain partners, and delivery collaborators
5. Lead outreach efforts and engage with local stakeholders
6. Oversee planning, resource allocation, and scheduling of initiatives
7. Organize and execute events
8. Develop case studies and compile content for KPIs and portal submissions
9. Create internal and external communications
10. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards, safeguarding protocols, and GDPR compliance across all activities
11. Engage in continuous professional development through appraisals and relevant training opportunities
12. Demonstrate and uphold our clients core values: care, trust, integrity, respect, and collaboration
Skills and experience:
1. Full UK driving licence (essential)
2. Clean criminal record (essential)
3. Experience in programme coordination
4. Knowledge of the education and community sector
5. Understanding of social and economic value in procurement and/or corporate responsibility
6. Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
8. Experience delivering presentations in schools (desirable)
9. Qualification in a relevant subject area (desirable)
10. General understanding of the construction sector (desirable)
Role information:
1. Working Hours are Monday to Friday
2. Salary is circa £28,000 - £32,000
