We are looking for an experienced Social Media Executive who will assist in the delivery of the marketing and social media strategy, focusing on supporting customer growth and reach.
You will primarily be responsible for the delivery of social media marketing activity for all three channels, which will include creating graphics using Photoshop and writing enticing customer-related content. These are brands you can have fun with and a high level of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in collaboration with the In-house Content Creator to identify social media trends and generate ideas for new campaigns and posts.
2. Write marketing copy and content, including social media captions and paid social ad creative.
3. Implement and analyze Paid Facebook, Pinterest, and other paid social ads platforms.
4. Reach out to and manage relationships with external social media influencers and build brand partnerships.
5. Support with filming and editing video content for social media when required.
6. Regularly conduct competitor analysis and benchmark other industry social media accounts.
7. Attend regular planning meetings to collaborate with Marketing Executives / Brand owners.
8. Research and execute ways to build the social media following and increase our reach.
9. Liaise with internal stakeholders including Buying & Planning teams.
10. Promote Sprii shopping campaigns to maximize audiences.
11. Develop a strong understanding of social media algorithms and stay on top of social media industry news and developments.
12. Strive to be the in-house expert in social media and seek creative ways to develop our social media strategy.
13. Test and champion new platforms and features launched by existing platforms.
14. Liaise and regularly meet with the social team in the Call Centre.
15. A hands-on approach to community management is required.
16. Attend industry events/exhibitions and support with the creation of collateral.
17. Create graphics using Photoshop or Canva.
18. Assist and drive the delivery of the social media strategy.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Experience using Photoshop and/or Canva.
3. Experience using social media in a marketing capacity – scheduling posts, etc.
4. Creative with a strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent spelling and grammar.
6. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
7. Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
Salary: £24-28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility at busy times. For 3 of your 5 working days, you must attend the office.
Our studios/offices are based in Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9HF – you must be able to comfortably commute to this location.
