Main duties of the job Rose Lodge is a learning disability specialist assessment and treatment inpatient unit based in Hebburn, South Tyneside. Rose Lodge has 10 beds providing acute assessment and treatment by a multi-disciplinary team. All of the learning disability specialist assessment and treatment wards offer a multi-disciplinary approach (based on Bio-Psycho-Social Mode of Care) to care for adults aged 18 and over with learning disabilities and mental health problems or severely challenging behaviour. The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.They act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.They facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.They are visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
