£37,500 – £39,000, Depending on Experience

Based at the magnificent Hampton Court Palace, the Royal School of Needlework is a registered charity and the international centre of excellence for the art of hand embroidery. We offer a thriving education programme for everyone from beginner to degree level and have a renowned Embroidery Studio.
The Executive Assistant Role:
As Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent, detailed and proactive administrative support to the Chief Executive. This includes diary management, event management, travel logistics and email management. You will also need to prepare presentations and carry out research as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the Chief Exec’s office and assisting with governance and administrative duties
2. Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external queries
3. Managing the Chief Executive’s diary and time
4. Organising travel and accommodation for the Chief Executive and Members of the Trustee board as required
5. Preparing and distributing meeting papers, recording meetings and producing accurate minutes
6. Managing an efficient filing system
7. Liaising with a wide range of contacts on behalf of the Chief Executive
8. Assisting the Chair and Trustee board on projects as required
About You:
1. Previous experience as an Executive / Personal assistant or a similar position
2. A highly organised individual
3. Experience of charity governance is desirable but not essential
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
5. High level of proficiency with a range of programmes and systems
6. Excellent IT skills
7. Strong attention to detail
