We are partnering exclusively with a niche high growth SME manufacturing business to add a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. The Role:
As a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role where you will have a real impact on the journey of growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights and drive profitability.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Develop and maintain robust financial models to inform strategic planning.
* Oversee stock valuation, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate inventory management.
* Implement and manage standard costing processes, analysing variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Drive improvements in financial reporting, systems, and processes.
* Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure business stability.
* Support ad hoc projects, such as new product development costings or investment appraisals.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
* Experience: Proven track record in management accounting or finance business partnering, ideally in a manufacturing or SME environment.
* Strong knowledge of stock management and standard costing in a manufacturing context.
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive mindset, with a drive to improve processes and add value.
