We are looking for an experienced Security Operations Centre Manager for our corporate client, based in Abingdon.
You'll be supporting the client's global security team, contributing to and supporting the international business in implementing effective global security programs to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization's employees, intellectual property, integrity, reputation, and physical assets. This is a global role with duties across multiple countries and continents.
Salary: £43,000 - £45,000
Hours: 08:30 - 17:30

Your Time at Work
1. Lead a team of 8 Security Operations Centre Operators/Officers in our ESOC (European Security Operations Centre)
2. Oversee the continuous monitoring of the client's network of international offices, ensuring effective security monitoring and incident response.
3. Coordinate with the GSOC (Global Security Operations Centre) in the management and response to incidents and alarms.
4. Monitor security systems internationally and coordinate service and maintenance schedules with contract service providers.
5. Work directly with the client's network of international offices on daily access management requirements.
6. Act as the emergency point of contact for the client's international employees, directing them to services.
7. Lead the operational management, training, and development of the security team.
8. Manage all necessary reporting and data management for the client (KPI's, QBR's).
9. Review and develop ESOC duties, ensuring performance meets agreed KPI's.
10. Maintain, develop and implement all site security and SOC policies, procedures, and standards along with the collation of associated evidence needed for compliance audits.

1. Proven experience of leading and managing a security operation.
2. A recognised industry standard qualification/certification - CPP, CSPM, etc., or equivalent work experience.
3. Risk Management and Incident Management skills.
4. Strong leadership, team building, collaborative, and process-management skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to exchange complex information with others.
6. Demonstrate creative mental agility, critical thinking, and inductive and deductive reasoning to solve problems, make decisions, and implement effective solutions with limited input.
7. Ability to understand customer needs and to work effectively with key stakeholders.
8. Willingness and appetite to develop your industry knowledge and continuous professional development.
