Come and be part of our skilled and friendly therapy team in our acute inpatient team, within the surgical / ortho area. Working in partnership with whaiora, whānau, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will provide high quality, person-centred inpatient care. Problem solving and bringing creative solutions to complex discharge planning will keep you actively learning and engaged within the acute medical team. You will support and guide rotational Occupational Therapists and students and be actively involved in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the acute medical and inpatient Allied Health team.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will be part of a diverse and supportive wider team of acute and subacute Occupational Therapists. We value continued professional development, mentoring, supervision, and ongoing training. You will have access to regular in-service training, special interest working groups, and learning opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We also have an Occupational Therapy Professional Lead to support your growth and promote the Occupational Therapy service throughout our hospital.

About You
We are looking for an Experienced Occupational Therapist with the following key attributes and skills:
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or equivalent.
* New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist with current annual practising certificate (APC).
