Your new role
15. You will be responsible forworking on numerous client sites maintainingTransformers and switchgear and working on projects across the UK
16. Working on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment.
17. Carrying out service / remedial works on Equipment.
18. Able to write up detailed quality reports, daily site reports and such.
19. Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
20. Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.
21. Carry out routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturer’s standard.
22. Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment,
23. Ability to test LV protection and type up accurate reports of results.
24. Instal HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers standard.
About you
Desirable qualifications/ skills/ experience
25. BTEC in Electrical Engineering
26. A thorough Understanding of Electrical Power System up to 33KV.
27. Good Transformer knowledge and understanding
28. Have operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter.
29. Ability to work proactively on your own or in a team
30. Be able to prioritise workload
31. Ensure work is to a high standard when working on client sites.
32. Work well as part of a team
33. Must be eligible for SC /CTC clearance and DBS Check.
34. Full UK Driving Licence
