We are looking for a Front of House Manager to bolster our current team for our busy restaurant, The Longhorn Bar & Grill, which opened two years ago and is now open seven days a week. We have a strong team of chefs and now need to build a stronger team front of house to adapt to the increased popularity of our restaurant and, help us take the business forward. The Longhorn is owned by Teddington Stores Limited, which is in turn owned by Deborah and William Gilder. We are a family business, with a flat management structure and, an open door policy: We are not afraid to get stuck in.
We are looking for someone who will fit in with our no nonsense approach to business. We are beef farmers, hence why the mainstay of our menu is beef and, we have our own butchery, operated from our farm shop, Teddingtons. The suitable candidate will be someone who loves food, food provenance, and is prepared to stretch themselves to go above and beyond.

Do you have the demonstrable ability to:
* Set standards, follow them and ensure your team does the same;
* Manage a team professionally and fairly;

* Give exceptional customer service;
* Manage a busy shift with up to 180 covers;
* Train staff and share knowledge;
* Mentor and motivate staff;
* Work hard with a clear vision to succeed?
Do you have:
* Experience as a front of house manager;
* A personal licence;
* Knowledge of wine pairings;
* A hospitality qualification and/ or experience;
* A good reputation within the industry?
You will be responsible either solely or as part of the team for:
* Ensuring that staff costs to turnover ratios are financially efficient and sustainable;
* Ensuring the restaurant is a safe and clean environment for staff and customers alike;
* Positive customer feedback and satisfaction;
* Ordering wine, spirits, beers and other drinks and maintaining a good stock rotation and minimal wastage;
* Ordering other front of house consumables;
* Ensuring staff are well trained and knowledgeable;
* Fostering a strong team spirit; and
* Fostering the confidence of your team.
