Job Purpose: Provide 1st line technical support and assistance to end-users across the organisation. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring computer systems, and assisting in the maintenance and management of the company's IT infrastructure. Key point of contact for resolving IT-related problems, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization. A Typical Day in the Job: Assist in providing technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Learn to install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Learn to troubleshoot software-related problems and provide solutions. Gain knowledge of basic network administration tasks, such as setting up and maintaining network devices. Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity issues. Assist in installing and updating software applications on various platforms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations. Assist in annual audits of College equipment. Gain an understanding of IT security principles and assist in implementing security measures. Learn to identify and address security vulnerabilities. Work collaboratively with IT team members on projects and tasks. Learn effective communication skills and customer service etiquette. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in information technology. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £16,923-£22,511 per annum.
