In this role, you will deliver pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher, managing pupil behaviour to ensure a constructive environment. You will also support the development of pupils’ emotional literacy and social skills through specific and targeted interventions. You will assist with supporting pupils’ academic and social communication needs (ELSA), linked to their individual diagnoses, and play a key role in promoting positive social and emotional well-being. This will enable them to engage effectively in learning both in and out of the school environment. Additional Information: ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) training will be provided as part of your professional development.
