The Opportunity
As a Commissioning Manager, you’ll manage a team of commissioning engineers to safely execute system testing at Hinkley Point C, ensuring readiness for commercial operation while contributing to process development, recruitment, and training. You’ll drive successful project delivery by building collaborative relationships and managing key milestones in line with project requirements.

What you’ll be doing
You will lead a team of 10-20 commissioning engineers responsible for the safe and effective testing and commissioning of a group of systems in the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear power station. While the role will evolve during the lifecycle of the project, you will contribute to the defining of commissioning process, and support the recruitment, training and development of suitably qualified and experienced personnel.
Following this, you will manage the team on-site in executing commissioning tests to justify readiness of HPC units to safely enter commercial operation. Reporting to a Senior Commissioning Manager, you will assist and manage delivery to meet and report on key targets in accordance with the project’s requirements.
Who you are
You will have a technical engineering background in a relevant engineering discipline and experience of leading others in a programme-driven environment.
You will have the ability to recognise, coach and develop the skills of others, creating an environment of safety, autonomy and trust in a diverse team. You will have a delivery mindset, be able to get results and influence both internally and externally.
