The Silver Crane Company is a global leader in designing and supplying decorative gift tins filled with confectionery, biscuits, chocolates, and snacks to over 26 countries, and we are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
Based at our UK office in Ringwood, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading UK national retailers and major food manufacturing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Director/Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities.
2. Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts.
3. Identify, pitch, and win new business through creative proposals and strategic planning.
4. Lead relevant new product development (NPD), briefing our art team and managing customer design feedback.
5. Oversee project commercials to ensure profitability and competitive pricing.
6. Manage end-to-end project coordination, ensuring deadlines are met from order to delivery.
7. Liaise with internal teams such as logistics, warehouse, marketing, and finance, while managing external suppliers.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A natural and engaging presenter with exceptional people skills.
2. Advanced negotiation and commercial acumen.
3. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
4. Passion for great design and experience in NPD.
5. A focus on delivering outstanding customer service, with meticulous attention to detail.
6. Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management.
Experience in FMCG is essential, and knowledge of the confectionery, biscuit, or food gifting market is highly desirable.
