The hospital has different departments with various patient groups, including Minor Injuries, Outpatients, Radiology Imaging, and Day Surgery. This role is based on Hanham Ward, which is a 21-bedded nurse-led unit, with patient needs ranging from post-fracture rehabilitation, medical diagnoses and treatments through to palliative care, supported by local doctors 3 days per week and our ANP 5 days a week.
Our ward team has members from a variety of backgrounds and with varied interests and specialities. We support students and newly qualified nurses to achieve their potential, and we are an inclusive active team with days out and a lively team chat group. The team working on Hanham Ward are amongst the kindest and most caring people in the NHS today.
We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses and provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.
