The firm’s Private Client team is well-established, offering specialist advice in wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and lasting powers of attorney. Due to continued success, my client is looking to hire an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team. Position Overview: The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of private client matters, delivering tailored estate planning solutions and ensuring exceptional client care. Trust experience is preferable. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a caseload of wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and tax planning. • Provide expert advice on lifetime planning and succession strategies. • Draft and review trust documentation. • Assist clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. • Handle complex inheritance tax and estate planning issues. • Liaise with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure smooth estate administration. • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Essential: • Qualified Solicitor with experience in private client law. • Strong expertise in wills, probate, estate planning, and tax matters. • Excellent client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Desirable: • Trust experience is preferable. • STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualification or working towards it.
