Job summary An exciting opportunity to provide clinical expertise as part of the University Hospitals of Leicester Emergency Department Blood Borne Virus opt-out testing programme. Working with one of the busiest Emergency Departments in England, seeing on average 18,000 attendances per month, thepost holder will be responsible for the management and treatment of patients identified with Hepatitis B through the Emergency Department opt-out Blood Borne Virus screening programme and other referral routes. Main duties of the job We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic clinical nurse specialist, responsible for communicating and receiving sensitive diagnosis of Hepatitis viral infection and supporting patients to understand treatment options. The post holder will act as a clinical expert, providing professional information and resources for patients, their carers and the multi-disciplinary team, providing excellent clinical leadership for this patient group.
